LITERATURE
expression in mIMCD-3 cell: GDPD5 expression reduces (mRNA level) when osmolarity is increased from 300 to 700 mosmol/kg by adding NaCl (200 mosmol/kg) and urea (200 mosmol/kg) in combination. HEK293 cells transfected with GDPD5: recombinant GDPD5 is perinuclear. GDPD5 colocalizes with neuropathy target esterase in the ER of HEK293 cells. Expression of GDPD5 increases GPC-PDE activity (specific siRNA assay to knock down GDPD5, mIMCD-3 cells)
