Paralichthys olivaceus enzyme expression is increased after treatment with polyinosinic:polycytidylic acid (5.99fold 0.05 mg/ml after 4 h), peptidoglycan from Staphylococcus aureus (5.36fold at 0.05 mg/ml after 2 h), and challenge with Edwardsiella tarda (3.1fold after 2 h). The enzyme is highly expressed in earlier embryonic development, and this pattern continues to the blastula stage and reaches the peak in the morula stage. Then, the enzyme expression decreases in subsequent stages, however, it increases again in the hatching stage up
