3.6.1.69 physiological function MutT1 converts 8-oxo-dGTP to 8-oxo-dGDP, and 8-oxo-GTP to 8-oxo-GDP. Rv1700 then converts them to the corresponding nucleoside monophosphates. An Escherichia coli strain expressing both MutT1 and Rv100 is rescued during treatment with 2 mM H2O2 Mycobacterium tuberculosis
