Each subunit of the dimeric enzyme contains 12 alpha-helices and 14 alpha-strands. Crystals belong to the space group P2(1)2(1)2(1) with unit cell dimensions of 59.5 A, 66.8 A, 242.0 A and one dimer per asymmetric unit. Crystal dimensions are typically 1 mm * 0.6 mm * 0.2 mm Streptomyces venezuelae
