Xylose operons rom Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus licheniformis and Bacillus megaterium are introduced to regulate the expression of the gene encoding TreS. It is functionally expressed, and the construct yields enzyme activity of 12.1 U/mL Thermomonospora curvata
