hyaluronan + H2O hyaluronan is mainly degraded into hyaluronan tetrasaccharides and hyaluronan hexasaccharides. The proportion of hyaluronan tetrasaccharides and hyaluronan hexasaccharides is accurately controlled by amount of enzyme. Higher yield of hyaluronan tetrasaccharides is achieved with higher activity of the enzyme Hirudo nipponia hyaluronan tetrasaccharides + hyaluronan hexasaccharides
