expression in Escherichia coli and Pichia pastoris. The high-level production of recombinant Bbchit1 is detected in Escherichia coli expression system, however mainly located in inclusion bodies. Refolding of solubilized inclusion body proteins is achieved by dialysis. In Pichia pastoris expression system, Bbchit1 is secreted into the culture medium under the induction of methanol. The specific activity of Bbchit1 from Pichia pastoris is higher than that from Escherichia coli Beauveria bassiana
