Compared with ChiCW, ChiCWDELTAFC exhibits higher chitinase activity at high temperature and pH, but expresses lower hydrolytic and binding activities toward insoluble substrates. ChiCWDELTAFC hydrolyzes oligomeric and polymeric substrates less efficiently than ChiCW Bacillus cereus
