additional information human liver endoplasmic reticulum-anchored cytochrome P450 enzyme CYP3A4 is degraded via ubiquitylation by E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme UBC7/E3 ubiquitin-ligase gp78, reaction of EC CYP3A4 Asp/Glu/Ser(P)/Thr(P) surface clusters are important for its intermolecular electrostatic interactions with each of these E2-E3 subcomponents.
