General Information

General Information Comment Organism
physiological function heterologous overexpression of Apx6 increases the survival rate and reduces leaf water loss rate in Arabidopsis thaliana under drought treatment. Compared to the wild type plants, high salinity treatment reduces the concentrations of malondialdehyde, H2O2 and proline but elevates the activities of Apx, glutathione peroxidase, catalase and superoxide dismutases in the Apx6-overexpressing plants. Germination rate, cotyledon greening, and root length are improved in the transgenic under salt and water deficit conditions Eutrema salsugineum
