IUBMB Comments
Isolated from the bacterium Streptomyces galilaeus. Forms a complex with its accessory protein AknT, and has very low activity in its absence. The enzyme can also use dTDP-2-deoxy-beta-L-fucose. Involved in the biosynthesis of other aclacinomycins.
