The methylation in male primordial germ cells of 6-8-days-old embryos is higher than that in female primordial germ cells, genotyping, the GATM gene displays biallelic expression in primordial germ cells as well as somatic embryonic, extraembryonic, and adult chicken tissues, reverse-transcription PCR and quantitative real-time PCR expression analyses, sequence comparisons
