This cytochrome P-450 (heme thiolate) enzyme is involved in the biosynthesis of the cyanogenic glucosides lotaustralin and linamarin. It catalyses three different activities - isomerization of its substrate, the (E) isomer, to the (Z) isomer, dehydration, and C-hydroxylation.
