physiological function the N-terminal domain of ATPase FliI interacts with the cytoplasmic domain of falgellar ortholog FlhA, but not with FliF. The FlhA binding domain resides in the N-terminal 150 amino acids of FliI. FliI also interacts with flagellar proteins CdsL and CopN Chlamydia pneumoniae
