NcatHisRs shows no mischarging of noncognate tRNAs but exhibits reduced selectivity for the C73 discriminator base. NcatHisRs is monomeric, indicating that the C-terminal domain is essential for maintaining the dimeric structure of the enzyme Escherichia coli
