Cloned(Commentary)

Cloned (Comment) Organism
gene cwlB, the gene and upstream gene cwlA form one transcriptional unit, DNA and amino acid sequence determination and analysis, sequence comparison. Transcription of the operon is directed by a promoter, PcwlA, which is located upstream from the cwlA gene and that the transcription start site is a single 5'-end nucleotide residue T located 25 nucleotides upstream from the cwlA translational start codon. The activity of PcwlA is controlled by sigmaK. Subcloning and gene modifications in Escherichia coli strains TG1 and SCS110, recombinant expression of His-tagged enzyme in Escherichia coli strain BL21(DE3) Bacillus thuringiensis
