General Information

General Information Comment Organism
physiological function isoform RDR6 acts in the biogenesis of various types and sizes of small RNAs. An rdr6-1 mutant, which is temperature sensitive and shows spikelet defects, displays reduced accumulation of trans-acting siR-auxin response factors, the conserved trans-acting siRNAs derived from the TAS3 locus, and ectopic expression of trans-acting siR-auxin response factors target genes. 21-Nucleotide phased small RNAs are also largely dependent on isoform RDR6. Isoform RDR6 has a strong impact on the accumulation of 24-nt phased small RNAs, but not on unphased ones Oryza sativa
